The Ultimate Youth Enrichment Program for High School Students!

Whether you’re a science whiz or a poet, this program is your passport to take your gift to the next level and/or flaunt your skill on the big stage. WHY JOIN ACT-SO

ACT-SO pushes you to reach your maximum potential.

At ACT-SO meetings and workshops, we will teach you how to successfully compete against your counterparts by inspiring you to do your absolute best, teaching you the importance of preparation and presentation. This program culminates in local and national competitions. Students who participate in ACT-SO can compete with other students in 3 of 33 categories including Business, Humanities, STEM, Performing, Visual, and Culinary Arts.

The local winners qualify to then compete with other students from across the country at the National Competition for medals, prizes and scholarships.

General Requirements for Eligibility:

High School Student

High school students enrolled in grades 9-12.

Amateur

Be of amateur status in any category of competition they participate in.

Follow Guidelines

Conform to the guideline requirements as indicated by their chosen category(s).

Submit Application

Submit an application (written or online) to their local ACT-SO Chapter.

Upon request by the local program chairperson and the National ACT-SO Office.
